Super smooth Kueh, with flavourful chye Poh and a superb sambal. The only complaint is that it's difficult to eat w the sticks haha
PS yes it's very oily tho
All right. Other than Tiong Bahru, Ghim Moh, Bedok, Sembawang Hills, where else got good Chwee Kueh?
Realised most are just franchises of the same brands, but good to explore this under-rated hawker food.
Let me know below!

Following a renovation a few years back, this is easily the cleanest hawker centre in Singapore. Not as large as some others (like Maxwell, Chinatown Complex), but still includes some countrywide famous stalls, for shui kueh, Hainan chicken rice, roast meats, pig organ soup, hokkien mee, kway teow, etc.
I will never leave Tiong Bahru Market without my favourite chwee kueh (5 for $2.50) from Jian Bo Shui Kueh😍 The kueh is very soft and the sweet and savoury fried cai por is fragrant and highly addictive! Easily my favourite stall in the entire market:)
Firm steamed rice cakes topped with chili and preserved radish toppings. Mornings can't really get any better than this. The lines can get long but service is brisk and well worth the wait
