Calling out to all noodle lovers who are looking for lunch ideas at CBD, YOU GOTTA TRY THIS restaurant located at the heart of CBD, Boat Quay. Hand stretched noodles sprinkled with spring onions, dried chilli powder, bell peppers and mashed garlic. The final procedure is the pouring of boiling oil on top all those seasonings, "sizzling sizzling", driving out the luring aroma of all the spices. Hence the name, 油泼扯面 (Stretched noodles with boiling oil poured all over). The best part? It's only $5.80!!! Well I'm on the treadmill, drooling while writing this post. I'm gonna go get a bowl of this RIGHT NOW😍
Today's med leave was quite a waste since I only managed to rest like an hour more. Most of the morning was spent at clinics: at a regular one for the obligatory MC, and my TCM for acupuncture relief for my super blocked sinuses. But hey, TGIF!! Plus my mutton soup was even more awesome than usual, and the shop gave us an extra portion of potatoes because I asked why those were missing from the 大盘鸡。=D
