($4.00) Consistently good fish soup. The fish is fried with a very light batter and is fleshy. The soup is extremely rich and is the product of many hours worth of preparation.
Read it's a legend - disappointed. It's not bad, to be fair, just not wowed. Sliced fish, fried fish and soup were all so-so. I was impressed by the sole hawker manning the stall. So was the cooking show he put up, which made the ordinary food even more a pity.
A perpetual queue at Old Airport Road! The soup was extremely creamy and gao, making it very satisfying! It tasted almost like there was XO or some sort of Chinese wine generously added to give that sweet fragrance. Downside was that it was slightly oily!
New fish soup store that that taste quite similar to the one in Maxwell.
It used to be good but this time round the soup was rather bland
