The duck rice is not bad but i find it abit gimmicky. The yam rice was ok. It was sprinkled with fried garlic so got crunchy texture. The duck meat was abit tough. The ajitama was done well even though doesnt look nice. You can also buy their normal duck rice at $5.

Established since 1980 and now run by 2nd generation owner Melvin Chew (who also co-founded the 'Hawkers United Dabao' group to support fellow hawkers during the pandemic), they offer both traditional and modern takes on the dish.
The traditional version has soft steamed tender yam / taro chunks and soy braising gravy infused with the fluffy rice, resulting in a earthy sweet savoury flavour.
The braised duck is tender with a light chew, with the skin and fat having a light bounce, and pleasant meaty savoury salty earthy flavour.
They're also known for wobbly soft lava eggs, though mine was less runny than expected, but still had nice eggy sweet flavour.

☺️ Yummy Kway Chap in Chinatown (S$4). I'm sure you've heard of this stall before. The kway chap herbal broth is tasty, not too salty. Love the lava egg and nice chilli.

Kway Chap Brasied duck set with yam rice and duck noodle.
💰$13.1 ( including container)

It's decent kway chap with light herbal version. I prefer the kway chap than duck.

Bento Combo Jumbo Set 日式卤鸭, 淉汁便当 (S$10.20)
Came with yam rice rolled into balls, tender braised duck, beancurd, offals, pickled vegetables, and Japanese style runny yolk lava eggs

Braised Duck Noodles (S$4.50)
Selected Kway tiao as choice of noodles.

Soup was packed separately.
Servings was kind of smaller than expected. The pickled vegetables was kind of more salty than preferred. The braised duck slices in the noodle soup has bones, so not boneless.
