This place has a loft and provides great privacy. A good place to just chill and watch people go by. Good deal 1-1, we parked next door to the mall and love the quietness away from the buzz of Katong

The Milk Bricks with Shredded Coconut tasted a bit like milk pudding, and looked like milk tofu — cold, slightly bouncy, and sweet. I would say the desiccated coconut tasted quite fresh in my opinion and it was a refreshing dessert.

The Deep Fried Milk was a tad oily to me but the milk custard encased within the crispy skin was delicious.

The two must-trys and probably what differentiates this place from the ones at Bugis street are the double layer milk pudding and signature ginger milk pudding. A Chinese version of Creme Brulee, the hot double layer milk pudding was silky and comforting minus the crunchy caramelised layer. Their signature ginger milk pudding was freshly done on the spot as the milk was poured in front you and the curd slowly formed under the steam. The texture was similar to tau huay and the gingery taste wasn't too overpowering. Perfect if you are looking for a warm and nutritious dessert.

The chrysanthemum was crunchy and slightly sweet, giving a wonderful texture to the slightly sweet and milky pudding. I liked that the pudding wasn’t cloyingly sweet. I enjoyed this on a chilly night at Katong, and would definitely come back again.

Well balance of ginger and milk. Pudding is smooth and melts in your mouth. Made on the spot with the server pouring in the milk into the ginger mixture, all it takes is 4 mins to solidify.
