Had the 6 course lunch set. Personally prefer the soup, starter and mains. Had grilled mushroom steak in the picture for mains and personally love the truffle mashed potato best. Overall,it’s a nice place for a celebratory occasion and the staff there is very friendly.

Sitting at the top of Orchard Central is a beautiful restaurant blessed with tons of natural light and luscious greenery — the perfect backdrop for your next date or special occasion. Splurge on a 7 Course Set Dinner ($68.80) to enjoy a wider range of dishes. Expect dishes like the Vegetable Sashimi on Ice with Sea Grapes Shooter Glass that manipulates ingredients like coconut, konjac, huai san and aloe vera to embody the texture and bite of the real thing. As part of the 7-course dinner, Burppler Aunty Discount Club recommends choosing the Grill Summer Mushroom Steak on “Pu-Ye” Hot Stone and drizzling on the accompanying thick peppery sauce.

This was incredibly interesting! The salmon looking thing was actually carrot, and the other ingredients were coconut, konjac, huai san. We were thinking on how they’d be able to do sashimi platter out of plants, but this was done beautifully.

Everything surprisingly went well with the wasabi and soya sauce, even the coconut. If you’re looking for something truly unique, you got to order this cold dish. 👍🏻

Quite an interesting dish with layers of Apple mozzarella and basil dressing, none of the flavours in the sauce stood out, it was just a pretty good creamy sauce in between the thinly sliced pear. I love how refreshing this is, together with all the flavours combined together. This dish made me pretty happy 🙂

Other than that, the tomato on the side, was a little too sweet. Mint yoghurt dressing pretty standard.

Grilled monkey head mushroom with truffle mash and with crispy “pasta”. Very interesting flavours with the mushroom. Love the texture of it, overall a dish worth trying!

Would have been better if the sauce was unique, rather than just a standard black pepper sauce.

To finish off our mains, we each got different desserts to get a taste of various flavours. Their desserts are pretty average, nothing to rave about.

1 - Red wine poached pear with Lime sorbet:
The poached pear was quite sweet, more of a berry flavour compared to red wine. Sorbet was pretty standard

2 - Layers of red bean and yam with rose glass:
Hardly could find any red bean on it, mainly the yam purée which is just like orh nee in between pastry sheets with chocolate sauce and ice cream

3 - Yoghurt pudding:
Personal favourite as it wasn’t too sweet, the base was like a mix of yoghurt and a little custard topped with chia and some crunchy bits, but it’s kind of like a breakfast jar so.... no complaints

4 - Warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream:
A very basic one, no float chocolate out of it though
