The ingredients were of a substantial amount, which made this mala value-for-money. They also had special ingredients like the pork intestines which tasted pretty good, overall a good bowl of mala!
The typical mala and fish look amazing but we got drawn to their Chinese Sichuan cuisine instead. The deep fried intestine is so good that I would like to go back for a second round. Maybe this time I'll try their mala
Went here with my boyfriend the other day and ordered 3 dishes - fried intestine, twice cooked pork & stir fried cabbage. However, the portion that they gave were so large we almost couldn't finish it! Not to mention, the price was also extremely affordable as well. It was really value for my money. My personal favourite was the fried intestine. It was crispy on the outside yet very very tender on the inside. Its not everyday I get to eat something that yummy. I'm hoping to try their mala next because their zicar were really up to my standard (and probably even more). I'm really happy with the service as well as the chef cum cashier was really efficient and skillful in handling the customers. He was working alone the entire time but the waiting time for the food wasn't that long. I hope they get to expand their menu soon, would love to try more of their stuffs!
We ordered the mala fish and the mala xiang guo at the store. The fish was a huge portion for the price. The broth of the mala fish is very fragrant and has very rich and flavourful taste. The mala xiang guo (stir fried dish) is also nicely seasoned. Really enjoyed my dinner at a good price.
Situated in a convenient spot in Ang Mo Kio, Ju Bao Xuan exceeds all my expectations in terms of food quality, freshness and value for money. I tried the ala carte mala and signature mala grilled fish. Both dishes are exceptional; well-seasoned and perfectly flavoured. The 小辣 is suitable for individuals who can't take too much spice. Highly recommended and I'll definitely come back again! 😊
Fish was fresh and tender, Mala was extremely fragrant and flavourful. Location was bright and clean!:)
