Traditional lor mee @ $4.50

Tastes great, though can have a bit more garlic. Comes with all sorts of ingredients in small quantity but substantial enough. Their chilli isn't very spicy but they also add chilli padi which is really good (for me).

This is the most expensive item on their menu. They also have chicken cutlet option at $3.50 and fish option at $4. But definitely going back for this traditional version which has fish, chicken, braised meat and ngoh hiang.

Cod Fish Lor Mee that features deep-fried battered codfish. I like codfish and was pleasantly impressed by the fish’s fluffy meat encased in a thin crispy battered skin.

Decent bowl of Fried Cod Fish Lor Mee ($4.00)

Location: Jue Dai Lor Mee, Hougang Ave 9, #01-13 Ci Yuan Hawker Centre, Singapore 538776

Besides the traditional lor mee, Jue Dai also serves lor mee with yam rolls, chicken cutlet or battered cod fish.

Its traditional lor mee comes with braised pork belly, yam roll, shredded fried fish and a hard-boiled egg. I think it's a good decent bowl of lor mee -- the gravy is kinda too thin and limpy for me. They are however generous with their noodles and ingredients!

Jue Dai Lor Mee (stall 13) serves good comforting lor mee that always satisfy my lor mee cravings. It is not Xin Mei Xiang's standard but is definitely better than alot of other stalls out there.
