Got the Acai and Choc Oat bowls (the only 2 flavours available for today). Hearsay that they don't use sugar for their bowls and it's naturally sweetened by dates! The Acai was refreshing and not too tangy, with a variety of toppings like the creamy chia seed pudding which had a distinct coconut taste. However I personally felt that the Choc Oat stole the show. The rich chocolatey flavour had a distinct nutty taste, but could get a little sweet after a while. Glad I tried this before the deal expires 😅

Back at @thejujubar for their Black Sesame and Acai Smoothie! 🖤🖤The bowls at @thejujubar are 100% guilt free, plant based, vegan and refined sugar free. Their sweetness is derived from medjool dates and a blend of other healthy fruits. One bowl of these is jam packed with antioxidants , fibre and plenty of vitamins and minerals🥳🥳
Go straight for the regular ($8.50) as baby is just too small😋
It’s located right smack at Singapore Botanic Gardens visitor centre 1 Cluny Road #01-K1
(Nearest Mrt: Botanic Garden). Great place to enjoy your smoothie in a lush green environment .

We were way too full to eat the regular-sized juju bowl so we gave the baby a try! Not sure if it’s because we generally have small dessert stomachs but for $4.50 I thought this was decently portioned. Just like a scoop of ice cream. If you like acai, and you like refreshing things, this will probably be great :-) came with a scoop of granola at the bottom too.

You can’t complete your run or walk here without a cup of smoothie to chill down. Situated at the visitor service centre close to Bukit Timah Gate, this small kiosk serve açai bowl, ice cream and smoothie.

Rise & Shine, something worth having in the morning. Their smoothies are made with 100% plant-based, vegan shakes blended from only whole food ingredients. Their Rise & Shine is made from organic blueberries, bananas, chia seeds, coconut, organic medjool dates, vanilla and house-made almond milk. Such a wonderful cup filled with lots of vitamins. $7.50

What’s better when you can get one for one smoothies here with Burpple Beyond.

Warm weather calls for a refreshing icy dessert to beat the heat! 100% vegan and free of refined sugar, this açai juju bowl ($8.50, regular) sure packs a punch. I liked that it wasn’t as sweet as most other açai blends out there. The swirl looks deceivingly small, but it was densely packed. It was served with banana, blueberries, mulberries, chia pudding, granola and a drizzle of peanut butter. A pity that the only other flavour available was black sesame (the server actually offered to let us mix flavours in the same bowl!) because I was really looking forward to try the other fruit-based ones. Will be back soon enough!

After reading several online reviews, i was SUPER TEMPTED to try the sesame flavour but it wasnt on rotation this week. Hence, i got the mixed flavour acai (burried in beneath) and chocolate oat.

Acai: [Preferred] The acai base was made with acai, grapes, watermelon, medjool dates and filtered water. The acai isnt overly sweetened and had this slight sour accent. Serving only refined-sugar free desserts (YAAAS to this concept because its HEALTHY), I love how they sweetened the acai slightly with Medjool dates while retaining the natural sweetness and sourness of acai berries. The acai isnt diluted and had this icy texture. GREAT LOVE for this version of acai because the ones i had at other acai cafes were TOO sweet for my liking (eg. Randy indulgence)

Chocolate oat: This base was made with oats, dark chocolate, tofu, medjool dates, himalyan salt and filtered water. This had a creamy texture and was more filling and decadent. Suitable for those who love ice cream. Glad that it wasnt overly sweet and nice very subtle hint of savoury taste thanks to the himalayan salt. Personally preferring dark chocolate with very high bitter intensity (>80% cacao and unsweetened), i find the chocolate oats felt more like milk chocolate ice cream.😅😅 though dark chocolate was used.

I wanted the large bowl but i realised only mini or regular was available. Ooops. Love how it comes with banana, blueberries, mulberries, coconut milk chia pudding and house-made granola. However, for mine, i realised they gave very little blueberries 😭😭 i only had 2 for the regular bowl but from pictures i saw on instagram, others had moreeee :(((( xiao sad for the inconsistency😅

Nonetheless, i really really really love their acai base😍😍😍 as well as their refine-sugar free concept.

Ratings: 8.5/10 (quite expensive without 1-for-1) as the regular wasnt big enough to be a meal replacer. So it isnt very worth without discounts
