Found this place at the very last minute and turned out to be a good find, will definitely go back.
.
[Foie Gras & Scallops Don]
Foie Gras and Scallops weren't fragrant enough and the sauce which was a tinge of tart overpowered the bowl. I typically prefer my Don salty so it wasn't exactly satisfying.
.
[Kabuke Wagyu Bowl]
My friend chose their wagyu bowl which proved to be the right choice, wagyu was juicy and the fragrance of the truffle held everything together.
.
[Crispy Tori Kawa]
Crispy and fragrant, the honey ponzu adds a nice contrast.
.
The place looks nicer in photos, a little shabbier irl (like you can tell the chair is taobao) but still a nice atmosphere and service is so good! I wanna go back to try their small bites which looks really promising.

Uni somen.

Surprisingly good and refreshing! $27++ but the portion kinda small; thou it’s a good dish to try if you are eating at this place :)

australian wagyu with uni! meat was tender, juicy and well-seasoned while uni was fresh and creamy! worth the visit if you are craving for a decent beef don!

This is orgasmic. Currently off the menu but they might bring it back. The salmon roe is the ace of Kabuke and they made a dish with it! Yeap. Must order must get must have.

Well, like I said, this salmon roe here stands out, so much such that the sea urchin and foie gras, imo, isn't worth it. But if you are here to impress then this place is it for you. The beef slices were too thick, i rather thinner and more pieces. The seasoned rice. Is a good concept, like Chirashi's King kong but rightly warm for its pairing.
