More than a little disappointed, having to travel down on a Monday and getting a "lao hong" ice cream cone. Taking over The Laneway Market on Mondays and Tuesdays, Kaffles as been on my to-visit list for the longest time and to have an underwhelming plate of waffles is the last thing I want. A more chewy-soft bite, I would have preferred the waffles to be of a crisp texture instead (perhaps a personal preference) but I had no issues with the scoop of vanilla ice cream and toppings. ($12.90) Maybe it was an off day~

Note at the popup they only serve waffles, some light snacks/sides and beverage. Cash only!

Nestled within the supper stretch of Al Azhar and Al Ameen, Kaffles is located within Stirling Restaurant.
Not overly sweet with lingering fragrance of thai milk tea from every bite of the dessert, it didn't take us long to finish it. Currently, there's 4 varieties available. Thai Milk Tea, Speculoos (yes!), Nutella, Coconut Gula Melaka.
Almost every table have a Kaffles order, and why not? Kaffles is only open every Saturday, from 6pm to 1am. Last order at 0015.

Kaffles has four specialty waffles on its menu currently – Thai Milk Tea ($12.90), Nutella Kinder Bueno ($11.90), Speculoos Cookie Crunch ($11.90), Koko Kaffles ($11.90). You can also choose to match and mix.

The dessert contains two waffles at the bottom (looking similar to Creamier), topped with an inverted ice cream cone, then drizzled with sauce. People should find this reasonably photogenic or instagrammable (soon going to be a bad word). http://danielfooddiary.com/2015/10/29/kaffles/

The waffles delivered well a crisp airy, yet light & fluffy texture, whilst the strong scent of thai milk tea lingers throughout the place.

Despite arriving early ourselves, would like to thank @KafflesSG for the complimentary scoop of icecream last week! Good things in life are always worth the wait.

Available only on every Saturday from 6pm-1am, do make plans to head down this evening to their pop-up space at @Stirling_SG (Opposite Bukit Timah Shopping Centre).

Thai milk tea kaffles ($12.90) , available here at Stirling only on Saturdays! Crispy on the outside and soft inside for this Thai milk tea-infused waffles but it gets soggy really fast. Drizzled with more Thai milk tea sauce and a cutely inverted vanilla bean cone. Pity the vanilla ice cream didn't stand out. There weren't any black little specks of vanilla bean, but was still hoping it'd be more fragrant.

The waffles delivered well a crisp airy light texture – whilst the strong scent of thai milk tea lingers throughout the place.

While the latter buttermilk waffles with salted caramel was more than your typical combination, strong salted caramel presence here with the same elemental perfection on the waffles.

@KafflesSG is a pop-up within @Stirling_SG at Upper Bukit Timah Road & these are only available every Saturday. Missed it yesterday? Mark your calendars & keep your Saturday evening (6pm – 1am) free!
