Japanese teahouse that specialises in matcha desserts and drinks. They also serve food as well though not a wide range. Order the Cha-Nabe Pork Shabu Tom Yum & Salmon Miso. You can have a choice of udon or Japanese rice inside the broth. Recommending the miso broth. It was thick and flavourful that complemented the udon noodles really well. Come with a dollop of mashed potato as side dish that was ultra smooth and light with bits of corn. It definitely whetted my appetite. Lastly the matcha tea is really nice and comforting that help end the meal well.

Hearty comforting food at an affordable price. The soup broth was a nice balance of sweet and sour with a hint of spiciness to it. It definitely whetted my appetite and the dollop of mashed potato was ultra-smooth and light with bits of corn in it. The set came with a drink of choice and I had a light Yuzu Pear Blossom green tea served in a gravitea pot.

Tart was awesome. Tho if the fresh cream could be lighter then be perfect!

This season’s flavour was cherry! The matcha soft serve was a little on the milky side while the cherry soft serve was very refreshing and tasted like a soda ice cream. Not a good combi to mix tho so they’re probably better off eating individually. Cone was crispy and tasty + they don’t charge extra for mix soft serves!

It was a lot more chocolatey than expected - Fresh berries and chocolate rice crispy calls atop a layer of chocolate sponge cake, whipped cream and rich chocolate mousse 🍫

Japan's famous matcha cafe opens at vivocity. A seasonal item from their menu, we ordered the matcha houjicha twist softserve cone for takeaway. The softserve is definitely more milkier than the tsujiri honten rendition -hence lacklustre in terms of the richness of matcha and houjicha. The good thing about it was that the softserve was not too melty -the receipe was more dense and less incorporated air.
