Kajiken is popular for their mazesoba and has a few outlets in Singapore.

Mix all of the ingredients together for 20 seconds as it written on the wall, which you should able to get most of the taste after that.

The all toppings included the char siew, half-boiled egg and chicken karaage. Compliments with a warm Paitan soup and cooked egg.

Grab the set to complete your meal with an additional side and iced lemon drink.

Always my go-to dry ramen place!! Love the flavour combination after mixing it well. There is free noodles upsize too.

Mazesoba with all Toppings ($16.80++)
If you're up to try all the toppings, go ahead and order this! This bowl comes with 2 charsiew, 1 Chicken Kaarage (Ala Carte $4.50/ 3pc) which was really crispy, and 1 pork belly cube which was pretty flavourful!

* All mazesoba comes with free flow barley tea and eggs, and a bowl of soup (non-refillable).

Are you a fan of mazesoba? How about the idea of free upsize noodles? 😉

Grilled Cheese with Cod Roe Mazesoba ($17.30++)
Personally a huge fan of mazesoba, which some term as "Japanese Bak Chor Mee" 🤣. Honestly my first time trying Cheese Mazesoba, and I have to say I quite enjoyed it! As a fan of cheese, I didn't find it to be extremely jelak, and I enjoyed the flavour combination for this dish! Only qualm is that the cheese made the noodles stick together quite a bit, and I'd prefer for the Char Siew to be more tender and flavourful!

Super love the whole combi - QQ ramen, spicy minced meat, LOTS of spring onion, runny egg 😍 Used a Burpple 1-for-1 deal on this and it’s super worth! Would come back for more.

One thing that was really cool about Kajiken’s concept was that they offered a free upsize of the noodles, which meant that one could have a more filling meal without burning a hole in their pocket (but of course their hard-boiled eggs would be the low-carb option).

Apart from that, the Hokkaido Mazesoba (S$17.30) also included minced salmon, cod roe, and a small slice of butter to enhance the savoury aspect of the dish. Sadly, today’s turn-off was the overly-pungent bamboo shoots that reminded me of a less-than fresh sea urchin, making it somewhat agonising to eat on every time I chewed on some.

Neglecting the unsatisfactory parts of this meal, it was still a pretty filling meal, just that I was determined to get a dessert or drink (read: bubble tea) to cleanse my palate.
