Gekikara Ramen
tonkotsu soup spiced up with home made spicy miso, served with belly chashu, beansprout, spring onion, sweet corn, spicy minced pork and nori

✨Tonkotsu Mix Ramen (Regular)✨
𝐴 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑓𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑑 𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑇𝑜𝑛𝑘𝑜𝑡𝑠𝑢 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐶ℎ𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑒𝑛 𝑃𝑎𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑛, 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑟𝑎𝑚𝑒𝑛 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑒𝑛𝑗𝑜𝑦𝑠 𝑎 𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑇𝑜𝑛𝑘𝑜𝑡𝑠𝑢 𝑏𝑟𝑜𝑡ℎ

This is a classic, cannot-go-wrong kind of ramen. If you are not as adventurous as me, go for this option! The tonkotsu broth was creamy and flavourful, definitely the first thing that attracted me to this dish🤣 The thinly-sliced belly chashu makes it easier to chew and pairs really well with the broth! Also, one thing I always look out for in a bowl of ramen is the quality of the eggs. These hanjuku eggs are so soft that you can slurp it up in one go😋

✨Wasabi Mayo Gyoza✨
These gyozas were actually quite soft and chewy, with a slight crispy texture on one side. They were actually quite generous with the filling inside! I only wished that they gave more wasabi mayo sauce as it goes really well with the gyoza🤤

✨Spicy Yuzu Ramen (Regular)✨

At first, when I heard Yuzu ramen, I was quite intrigued🤣 Surprisingly, chilli goes quite well with yuzu! The citrusy taste from the yuzu gives a refreshing feel to the hot spicy taste. Also, another huge favourite from this dish is the onion😍 I usually don’t eat vegetables at all, but this was a treat! It was like a sweet crunchy side dish😋 And to top it off, the collar chashu was so tender. I’m surprised that there are so many different flavours, yet everything blends well together in the creamy soup broth!

The Kotteri, was lighter in comparison than the truffle one, but was also rich enough on its own. A really comforting bowl!

Long time followers here would know that truffle is not my kind of thing but this bowl of Truffle Ramen, I can do 🤤 Limited to only 20 bowls per day, the rich tonkotsu broth that already comes with truffle oil is served with an additional dollop of truffle jelly, made from truffle paste, on top. This elevates the already rich and creamy broth to another level. Recommended!
