A noodle staple, the plate is a mixture of braised duck with tofu, Chinese sausage and fish cake; much like Singapore's Yong Tau Fu. The plate is finished in a special sweet vinegar sauce to elevate the otherwise bland fish cake (which they make themselves). A bowl of dry noodle or soup noodle accompanies this smorgasbord of flavours and textures. You can find it at any night market or road side stall.
In my honest opinion, the famous egg fried rice loses slightly to the one back home but the xiao long bao is definitely better in Taiwan than Singapore.
