Second time back at Kara cafe for their grain bowls. Redeemed burpple for 1 for 1 Grain bowl (above picture - Pork Belly Miso grain bowl) & drink set. Noted the portion of the grain bowls were smaller this time. Will be back again to redeem the sogurt ice cream!

Was immediately drawn to the Taco Mexx Chicken ($14+) when I saw it on the menu! I opted for garlic japanese rice for my base. The chicken was a little bit dry, but the salsa and cilantro cream were really authentic and it ended up tasting like a burrito bowl! Loved the addition of Mexican elements like corn, avocado and jalapeño :-)

Was craving for something healthy and sweet after school so decided to come here as it was very near my school. Varied selections of Frozen Yogurts and toppings. I think this is the only place in SG that has DIY frozen yogurts. Frozen yogurt texture was creamy. Taste wise was very light and refreshing which is perfect as it does not leave you feeling bloated&sluggish. The cafe is quite big and is perfect for gatherings or just a place to chill. Definetely come back here again

Situated near Tan Kah Kee MRT station, this cafe looks asethetically pleasing upon entering. Ordered the salmon grain bowl and was served a generous portion. Overall it was not bad, but felt that the salmon mayo was a little dry.

For drinks, we had camellia tea (simple, normal) and avo-latte. For the latter, the taste of latte was rather overpowering so we couldn’t really taste the avocado even though it seems like a substantial amount was added. At a high price point of $9, I wouldn’t go for the avo-latte again.

Kara Cafe’s signature mochi waffles! Don’t expect crisp waffles, it has a chewy, eggy texture that’s quite pleasant to bite on. It comes with a large swirl of frozen yogurt which was tasty and tangy, though I’m not sure the two went all that well together.

The mac and cheese is on the salty side. Personally, I prefer mac and cheese to be on the sweeter side. Chose mac and cheese as I don't think I can finish a rice bowl and a waffle on my own 😂 the rice bowls looks good too 🌾
