Filthy, filthy place - battled cockroaches - but it tasted so, so good and authentic. Love the firecracker sze chuan pepper spice but left us wondering whether our food was even clean..

Laksa with its fragrant milky gravy especially with lots of tau gay, while the latter would be for days I wanted to "eat cleaner" - but ends up adding laksa gravy as I can't resist temptations 😧 (oh the efforts of eating healthy)
So Yong Tau Foo in Laksa gravy with thick bee hoon is like that two had a baby and this would be the end results (or maybe it's just my gluttony 😂 & a dream come true) And bidding goodbye to yet another losing weight plan..... 👋

The building stands facing a modern and spanking condo. This tiny foodcourt seems forgotten but it is the food that keeps the regulars go back there again and again.
All the stalls here have no names. Simple named yong tau fu, chicken rice etc.

This is the dry braised duck noodles. Only $4 which includes peanuts, half egg n taukwa. The soup that comes with it is rich and herbal with a strong tinge of star anise. It was the chilli that made the noodles tastier. It was spicy enough to give it that extra lift. Traditional comfort food. But dont expect nice ambience.😄 located at basement level of katong shopping centre.
