Pork Katsu Udon - a satisfying bowl @kazokuteisg
While the google maps ratings is poor at around 3.2, we decided to dine in as it was one of the few places in Bugis Junction without a queue during lunch time 🤔.
This was surprisingly good though.
🐽 Pork Katsu was cripsy on the outside and has a nice firm meat texture to it without being too tough. Looks pretty for a pic when serving but felt that it will be better if the pork katsu can be served separately and not partially soaked in soup.
🍜 Udon - thick, chewy and yet still slightly springy. The udon is really good tbh.
Soup was alright too, pretty standard udon soup.
Total bill after ++ is $15. Not cheap but not exactly expensive for dining in a restaurant/mall.

Fluffy omelette with crispy chicken karage and fries! Worth it especially with lunch set meals!
Crispy mixed tenpura with the sweetness of vegetables and the nice flavours of prawn for $6.80.
The broth is very nice and the pork is very tender.
Surprised by this Japanese restaurant. The food is affordable and surprisingly quite delish. It wouldn't be over-the-top amazballs. But it certainly one of the better ones. The rice is steamed and so fluffy, with load of great flavors of chicken bits and mushrooms. The tempura is good enough. And if they have chawamushi in their set, that's a bonus! Cause I supposed all girls love chawamushi. Although it's on the slightly saltier side.
No greeting. No automatic service.
Maybe when that time i go there not alot customer, then the waitress looks like moody. Waitress are keep chatting and chatting. When i want to order i have to lift up my hand for awhile just got waitress come to serve me.
For the Food, i was satisfied.
