The store opens at around 3:45-ish, and even at this timing there was still a queue! Broth was spicy and shiok at the same time. I am not a good spicy eater so it was a struggle to finish this bowl of goodness, but bf was enjoying it and even added some chilli slices. Itโs a solid 8/10 โบ๏ธ

We have heard so much about this legendary Uncle KKM and today we finally make the trip down, all the way from the East to the West to try it for ourselves! We arrived around 10-ish with 6 ppl in Q and surprisingly the waiting time wasnโt too long, approx 15-20mins to get our hands on our food! Spicy Koka Noodles is their ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ and it did live up to its name!!! ITโS SO DAMN SHIOK๐๐ป๐๐ป!!! Comes in 3 sizes, $4/$4.50/$5, we decided to whack the $5 to make our trip worthwhile ๐คฃโ

Spicy Koka Noodles is fully infused with their spicy broth packed with so much flavours in it for that spicy๐ถ kick! Noodles were very QQ springy and soft, served with generous serving of tender sliced meats, super flavourful minced meat, vegetables and an egg! Itโs indeed so satisfying, comforting, and addictive! We are so hooked to it and would totally travel all the way down for this awesome bowl again! โ

Ever since leaving secondary school, I have not tried their stall anymore as I live in Choa Chu Kang and they closed after lunch time.
Only today when I was nearby, I decided to try after nearly 9 years. I had to takeaway instead of eating there due to the circuit breaker restriction. Good thing is they offered to separate the noodle and soup so that the noodle wouldn't be soggy.
Taste wise, it is like what I had in the past but as I had it at home instead of the coffeeshop itself. It is not as pipping hot which I had in the past.
It was $3 in the past but now $4 due to inflation. Do note that the cheapest price of each dish does not include egg as shown in the signboard. Hence, my noodle (without egg) would be $3.50 + $0.20 for container.
Have been patronising this stall for years and have always ordered the kekoumian, but I decided to try the mee hoon kueh that day instead. It looked hand torn, and it was a little doughy but still acceptable - not the best mhk. Itโs served in the same broth as the kekoumian - not too salty, light, but flavourful. The broth is the star of the bowl. Comes with veg (there is a lot in my bowl because my friend gave me all of her veg), minced meat and an add-on egg.
๐ต: $4.50
๐ค: This bowl was EVEN BETTER than when I had it the first time, but my is my egg yolk always overcooked?!?!!!!
๐ต: $4.50
๐: 9.5/10
๐ค: Delicious soup, QQ noodles and generous amount of ingredients. No lava-yolk moment thus the -0.5, but still a super satisfying & comfortingly delicious bowl of noodles.
