Bowl looks small but actually quite filling. Small place so have to wait, but turnover rate is quite fast.

Crunchy bites. Sesame seeds, tako, and cucumber bits mean that every bite is crunchy – I don’t recommend it if you prefer to slurp up the fishy chunks without being interrupted by random bitey bits. While I prefer the “sweeter” fish taste, this was more towards the fishy side!

Tried the Salmon Don, portion was just nice. It was served with sides and green tea. Worth the price! 😋

This set is perfect for hungry people like us! It was definitely worth it for 2 rice bowls (of your choice), 2 soups of the day, 4 sticks of Yakitori, 2 bowls of salad and 2 cups of iced/hot green tea.

We tried the Kei Signature Kaisendon and the Mentaiyaki Kaisendon. The rice bowls were surprisingly good and they were generous with their ingredients. The serving size is just nice for 2 hungry adults. Yes I would come back again for this deal.

Generous amount of fresh sashimi which includes salmon, tuna and yellowtail. The different textures that the wakame and octopus provides brings it to another level. You can opt for the small (12.90) or medium (16.90) if you are a small eater. Overall a good, affordable bowl that will curb your sashimi cravings.

Ordered the mentaiko kaisendon at both Suntec and Paya Lebar Square. Noticed that this chain seems to use filler items for sashimi. Suntec would fill up the bowl with diced cucumber and the Paya Lebar Sq one uses squid. But the menu includes bowls around $14 to $20+ which gives it a wider range of options. Won't be returning but those with less picky taste buds looking for a quick meal might be ok with it.
