Kei Kaisendon (Marina Square)

The miso soup that comes with the set is super hearty and good with additional ingredients, Ikura chawanmushi also delicious. The kaisendon was good and fresh enough

wOwww 🤩 such a pretty bowl of charashi 🍱, and it taste really gud as well. the 𝙠𝙚𝙞 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙣 features salmon (my fav), tuna, amaebi (spot prawns), a huge scallop, yellowtail and many other sashimi which i honestly hav no idea wht they are but they taste super fresh!! 🍣 the burpple set also came w salad, miso soup, green tea and chawanmushi 🍥 (which was delicious w sweet baby scallops and fish roe)

there are apparently 4 ways of enjoying this bowl of charashi, one of which was making ur own tamaki using the seaweed piece they gave. felt that the seaweed was abit tough and not as crispy as i wld like it to be.

it was also my first time using burpple and i am really looking forward to using it again cos this 1-1 deal cost just $29.90 wooo 🥳

Wow... The prawn is just fantastic, so tastisfying, marvellous. That char mentaiko pair with juicy bouncey fresh prawn topped with ebiko will make you speechless while you enjoy the prawn waddling in the ocean of mouth.🦐🔥

Kaiseidon, cause Scallop is love, and the set comes with 1 piece of Ebi Mentaiyaki, Miso Clam Soup, Salad, hard-boiled egg & a cup of hot/cold green tea.
Subtle sweet pearl rice decorated with chopped salmon, chopped swordfish, chopped tuna, squid, salmon caviar, shrimp roe, cucumber, wakame, seaweed and lastly, scallop with torched mentai sauce. Served with wasabi & pickled ginger.

Ordered the burpple 1 for 1 set kaisendon and mentaiyaki kaisendon which comes with salad and ikura chawanmushi with genmai tea!

I must say it is super value for money with the quality of the ingredients served - fresh sashimi topped with mentai sauce is awesome! The silkiness of the chawanmushi is so good even when its eaten cold.

Definitely be back to eat the same menu again! 👍

The set came with a large amount of sides. Salad, chawan, miso and tea. Quite a wide variety of sashimis as well. Salmon, octopus, prawn, tuna, swordfish, scallops etc. On that end they did well. However the sashimi didn’t taste great and I won’t exactly call it fresh. An ok choice if you’re looking to fill your tummy, but not where you’ll find a gourmet experience. 3/5 at best for us. Hence the poor photo. 🙃
