Inexpensive yet generous dish portions with super quick preparation and serving time⚡️Everything on the list is a must order except the vegetables (tasted super normal) and mingzhu roll which failed to live up to its hype as seen in alot of food bloggers’ reviews☹️ The fish maw comes with a substantial amount of real handpicked crab meat!!

Just found out that KEK has another outlet at Pandan Gardens which is definitely less crowded than the Alexandra one. Check out their platter ($32) and sambal kangkong ($10) which are 👍👍! We ordered the salted egg sotong too. If you think the platter is too much, you should definitely try their Mingzhu roll and prawn ball!

Total damage for 5 adults including drinks: $66.40.

P.S. I saw that they have some fusion burgers like marmite pork burger, prawn paste chicken burger etc. Price looks reasonable too!

This dish is flavourful and has a good wok hei, accompanied with generous portion of plump clams.
A well executed dish in my opinion and definitely one of my favourites! ❤️

Love the light and crispy batter with rich salted egg flavour and the squid was cooked just right - not too rubbery or soft.
It was so good that I can’t stop munching it!

This dish is for those who likes lotsa spice!! 🦀🌶🦀🌶 it was just bit too peppery for my liking. While I really like the sauce in this dish, I felt that the crab was a bit over-fried and the sweetness of the crab wasn't really there anymore. 😭

💯 They wok fry the spaghetti in the sauce to ensure the flavour comes through in the entire dish (and not just in the soft shell crab). Everything was so delicious I could have/might be able to devour the entire plate on my own heh 😂
