I have been eyeing Kele Swiss rolls for the longest time. But always thought it was a little bit too pricey. The opportunity to try it came when it got listed on Burpplebeyond 1-for-1 a few weeks ago! It took me two tries to get my hands on them though. First try was at Vivo city before dinner time and they had already run out of the lychee martini Swiss rolls. Second try was at the chinatown Smith street outlet after lunch time and the stock was still available (and no one). Got my hands on the lychee martini and avocado Macadamia nut! Interesting how the swissrolls have to be frozen. Best served after thawing them for 10mins. Much more creamy than a normal Swiss roll. And I'm someone who doesn't really like eating cream. but when the swissrolls are at their semi thawed stage, they taste slightly like icecream! Visible bits of lychee and macadmia nut in both. I will say trying it once is enough πŸ˜… The premium Swiss rolls are selling at $12.90 each roll. (There is actually an ongoing $10.90 store promotion now. But the Burpplebeyond 1 for 1 will still be $12.90 for two rolls).

Avocado and mango.

Mango not strong in taste. Could have been better

Apparently it's my fault, the rest of my family can taste the avocado.

Can clearly tell the complexity tho compared to a normal Swiss roll, even tho the individual elements don't come through(to me). Wonder why there isn't an avocado GM macadamia roll, that's gonna be good

Got the mango cream cheese and pandan ($10.90)! it was not bad but didnt taste like cream cheese hahaha tbh only got it cus 1 for 1 to try! but they got pretty interesting flavours :)

Find handmade, soft and fluffy roll cakes filled with fresh cream of assorted flavours from this quaint stall in Chinatown! From everyone's favourite D24 Durian ($12.90), intoxicating Rum & Raisins ($12.90), creamy Avocado & Gula Melaka ($10.90) to their classic Chocolate ($10.90) and Mango Cream Cheese ($10.90), there's something for everyone at KELE. Get yourself one of each flavour with our Burpple Beyond deal!

An award-winning brand, KELE is well-known for its pineapple tarts 🌟 & this year, they have introduced a new flavour - MATCHA! 🌱
These were really pieces of happiness! πŸ’• With an almost melt-in-your-mouth texture, the buttery pastry base was fragrant without being too dry or flaky. πŸ‘πŸ» Made with Japanese Matcha Powder πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅, it carries a slight tinge of bitterness, which balances out well with the sweet 🍍 filling!
Look at how generous they are with the pineapple filling! 🀩🀩🀩 Especially love how the tangy pineapple filling is not overly sweet - just the way i like it! πŸ˜‹
Here are the pricing for their various types of pineapple tarts:
πŸ”ΉοΈ$32.80 for Sweet Potato 🍠/Matcha 🌱/Rose 🌹 pineapple tarts, Golden Cheese πŸ§€ pineapple balls
πŸ”ΉοΈ$29.80 for Traditional pineapple tarts, Golden 🌟/Cocoa 🍫/Jade πŸ’š pineapple balls
Not a fan of pineapple tarts? Fret not - they also have various CNY cookies such as shrimp rolls 🦐, macadamia nut cookies πŸͺ, almond cookies & love letters etc.! 🀩🀩🀩
