I’ve been wanting to try this forever! I always go for the most recommended Sor-Hei bun (which is really good, by the way) but I finally got to try this cruffin. The croissant exterior was really crispy and buttery, and the matcha cream was rich-tasting and smooth.

Came here for the burnt cheese cake after seeing raving reviews on social media. We had the two face burnt cheese cake and it was indeed awesome! We also had the kopi susu (chinese style latte) which was something different but a double shot will be good too bad the staff doesn’t know what that mean. The place is a bit cramp and narrow not very comfortable to hang around for long. They do have some other bakeries up for grab and free wifi. Will certainly come back for the burnt cheese cake but probably to go.

You can request for them to heat it up for you if you’d like. The chocolate, when heated, melts perfectly within the pastry.

Not their signature.. but still a popular choice amongst my friends ~

$4.90 // pretty cheap considering the quality, and a breakfast bagel kind of thing is much more expensive than other places. love keong saik bakery’s bread texture, it’s always so soft and chewy and this one was baked with cheese on the top which made it even tastier. comes with cream cheese + pepper spread, 3 slices of bacon (very generous) and a cute star shaped sunny side up egg!! overall a rly hearty breakfast item, was great!!

$5.50 // MAD YUMZ!!! the croissant texture was perfect (flaky and yet so soft + chewy on the inside) and ahh the burnt cream cheese was multi-dimensional (flavor wise), smooth and creamy and added to the chewiness of the whole cruffin!! (i think it’s the same cheese as their cheesecake but melted) the cheese didn’t ooze out of my cruffin when i cut it but maybe cos it wasn’t heated up enough, but not that i’m complaining !!
this was a really worthy spending of my calorie limit XD

$4 // this was marketed as their signature dish but it really was nothing special at all in my opinion. what i liked was the texture of the bread (flaky outer layer and very soft inside) but the black layer was just the normal bread but in a black color. the description for this bread includes chocolate chips, but the amount was soooo little that it might as well not have been there 😕 so it really was just me eating plain bread by the end of it. not sure why this is their signature when there are way better items at keong saik bakery.
(makes me kinda sad though since there are so many interesting flavors that could be done with the black and white combi like black sesame or even a stronger dark chocolate bread??? sighzzz)
