Keong Saik Bakery (Luzerne Building)

If you love your bakes, pastries and coffee, this is one cafe to go! @keongsaikbakery serves up delicious bakes and coffee in both traditional western forms so it should fit most tasting palettes!

For bakes, we got the Orh Nee Tart ($8.80) and Chocolate Indulgence ($8.80) that is both available 1 for 1 under #burpplebeyond and they were good! The Orh Nee Tart was satisfying as the paste had strong coconut flavours and was very smooth! There was so much paste on the tart which made it really rich 😍 just felt like the tart crust could have been fresher though!

The Chocolate Indulgence lived up to its name as it was decadent with its good quality chocolate flavours. Definitely very rich and perfect for chocolate lovers. We felt like the sponge cake was abit too dry too.

To accompany the bakes, their Iced Latte with Arabica beans ($6) is a good option. It was smooth, rich yet not too milky. The coffee notes were strong and the nutty profile was delightful!

Definitely a good place to just chill with your friends and loved ones 🥹

𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝟐.𝟎 (4⭐️; $8.50) - Comprising sea salt butterfly pea mousse and ganache on top of earl grey cheesecake and earl grey shortbread cookie. Balanced with distinct and not overpowering floral, bergamot flavour.

𝐂𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐬 (4⭐️; $8.80) - Gorgeous to the eyes and rich enough in umami matcha flavour for the matcha fan in me. The crunchy chocolate crumbs and crisp buttery tart gave a nice bite in contrast to the creamy cremeux and mousse. 🌵💚

Smoked salmon bagel consist of japaleno which is spicy but it’s thicc. Love the kimchi toast which is crispy

Back at Keong Saik Bakery! This time at the Luzerne outlet! Have been wanting to visit this Luzerne outlet for its more spacious and bright airy environment!

Ordered the following food items:
-Chicken Katsu Burger
-Ebi Katsu Sando
-Hot Matcha Latte

We had 1 for 1 mains with burpple beyond, so our bill was $25+ for 2 pax! Otherwise, I do think their original pricing for the burger and sandwiches are kinda ex!

They are right opposite Syip cafe at Luzerne (another cafe on my to-visit list)! Saw a few groups hoping in between the two cafes, depending on which cafe had available seats!
