Strong soup and plentiful ingredients. But they use lean pork instead of bulgogi, which is a mistake.
Off-menu item - the menu pancake is potato pancake. This was not the best. I'm rarely turned off by Korean pancake. The dough/potato/something in it was overpowering.
One of the few spots in Orchard for cheap food. Not to mention it's authentic Korean so that's double the value. But heads up the ambience is terrible. The interiors are utilitarian and the service is prickly. Korean dumplings are the best nationality of dumplings!

This place serves really affordable and satisfying Korean food in town. Each main dish comes with rice, soup and a choice of side dish (cucumber/anchovies/kimchi).
Fried saba fish served on a bed on healthy greens for a balanced meal. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. A type of comfort food priced reasonably in town 》$8.50
The spicy pork was served in a generous portion of lean meat on top of a bed of vegetables. The meat was tender and juicy with a nice combination of savouriness and spiciness 》$9
The outer layer was pan fried till golden brown and crispy. Although it is made up of potato and flour, it does not feel overly starchy/heavy and I kind of like munching on it. It also comes with a dipping sauce that is a mix between sour and salty. This is something I would order again to share just that it is a little oily but still acceptable 》$4.50
