got ourselves a set for 2 pax. and this is the first time im trying out the much raved about beef from klthew and cbane. cool thing about the chilli sauce is that its chilled and has loads of sesame seeds for that extra bite.

the pork belly is good on its own and its also nice if you just cook it in the soup. makes you feel abit healthier. and now the beef. not disappointed at all. the beef variant is more of the fatty type. very nice beefy flavour. i guess im gonna select double portion of the beef the next time im here.

Finally a charcoal based mookata, that portion of meat was definitely more than 1KG, every item was seasoned really well. Felt like a marathon of eating after 2 hours but gotta enjoy the weekends man!!

one of my preferred mookata places because of the meat spam at this price point. ordered a 2 pax portion and a serving of mala xiang guo from the food court.
ma zong said today's meat portion was smaller than usual. no special marinade. just the charcoal grilling and sauce to go with the meat. good enough. im a gu niang, so i chose the normal sauce with lots of sesame seeds. tried the green sauce before. too spicy for me.
there are better mala xiang guo places out there. it's just customary for us to order so we can complete the true MAkata in honour of our dearest ma zong. pricey for the portion. and taste wise normal.
and we also saw mz's kakis @jmhuang86 and @x_____y___. mz really is the true embodiment of ζε滑倩δΈ.
