Not at all known for their coffee, but Kindred Folk does a decent cup! Their Long Black ($3, free with their weekday sets) is smooth and robust with a tinge of acidity. It does get quite crowded at meal times, but Kindred Folk will be great for a quick afternoon break (it even has power points and water!).

Asian Flush ($13.90) sounded promising enough with its tomato cream sauce with curry leaves and chilli padi. Unfortunately, the portion was small and pasta undercooked. Penne is usually used to scoop up cream sauce but there was so little that it failed to even coat each piece :-( The bacon was largely fat and there were only three measly pieces of mushroom. Not sure I’ll be back anytime soon, and even then I’ll stick to the other pastas that I’ve tried and prefer.

Portion size is on the small side. Might be enough for a lady but def not for a man. That aside, taste was good and with Burpple beyond the value is defo there. Had their ice cream before as well, it's not bad!

Yummy icecream with charcoal waffle 😋😋best place to dine in . love their icecream alot

We went for a second round of dessert because there's always room for desserts and because KAP (even without Macs) is still a great place to chit chat nonstop and catch up with one of my oldest friends!

got the 40% off deal with this purchase (mi so sexy, a miso-sesame based pasta with shimeiji mushrooms, angel hair pasta & an onsen egg + tomayto-tomato, a tomato based linguine pasta with your choice of smoked beef sausage or chorizos) using burpple beyond but tried the green eyed monster (thai green curry penne with zucchini and chicken breast) with burpple 1-for-1 before.
The miso pasta was satisfying as usual!! found the taste really interesting because i’m so used to seeing olive oil/cream/tomato/pesto based pastas. Not to mention the slight awkwardness when you make your order... bold claim!! tomayto-tomato was a little underwhelming as i felt that the sausage slices, though generous, were thin, but you can’t win at everything in life la..

pasta was not bad!! nice place to chill and grab dessert after (the charcoal waffles are yum!!), and the pasta flavours are really interesting. I’ll definitely come back to try more :—) i do find the portion a little small though,, but when it comes to pasta i consume 1.5 portions by default...
