Kinki Restaurant + Bar is a refreshing urban concept with a breathtaking view of the waterfront and skyline of Marina Bay. Its cheeky moniker hints of creativity in cuisine and atmosphere, setting Kinki apart from conventional Japanese restaurants. The menu explores cooking techniques that complement Japanese cuisine, uncompromising on the freshness of top quality, rare and seasonal items from Japan. An extension of the restaurant is its rooftop bar located on the third floor which overlooks a breathtaking, panoramic view of the Marina Bay skyline and waterfront. Its edgy and urban vibe is reminiscent of Tokyo’s hip street watering holes. With an entrance flowered by pink sakuras, a riot of vibrant colours and graffiti scattered across the bar, the casual mood makes it a great place to chill with friends and unwind after a hard day’s work.

From the Burpple community

This is an upgraded version of the normal california maki. It came dressed with fresh sashimi

There was a subtle sweetness to the cod fish. Well cooked as well

This was the highlight of our dinner. Unagi was of a good portion. rice was soft and charred and had a really good taste to it

had really high hopes for this dish cos it’s 2 of my most fave items but sad to say…. it was pretty meh. somehow the prawn was a bit mushy. not sure if it’s cos we didn’t have it immediately after it was served

Batter was thin and light. Pork wasn’t exactly that tender. the ume sauce was q good.

These burgers are priced affordably from $7.80 to $12.80 each as an ala carte order or you can get the bundle deals of 3’s A Partaay! ($30 for three burgers) and The One of Each ($56, one of each flavour excluding the Basic Chick and Health Nut). What we have tasted include the Beef Bo$$ ($12.80), 24K Drip ($10.80) and Unagi Wifey ($12.80), and each of the burgers is constructed with a base of nori seaweed, Japanese rice, lettuce, and egg omelette.

The Beef Bo$$ comes with a nice portion of beef yakiniku in it that gave it a nice sweet savoury flavour while the 24K Drip has an ebi fry with spam and salmon roe to satisfy the bougie side in you. Lastly, the Unagi Wifey contains a thick cut of unagi, simple but yet comforting.
