We got two of these. Was annoying they had run out of the quinoa so one had to have plain rice instead. They are very tasty and the chicken is good. Decent portion and very good price particularly with burple 1-4-1. Just annoying you can only get two options on Burple.

Unassuming but undoubtedly delicious! Even after leaving it in the fridge for 5 hours and then warming it up in the oven, the sous vide chicken was impossibly tender and juicy. The homemade chilli sauce was also a good blend of sweet and spicy. However, something that could be better would be to add more vegetables, as the shredded carrots and cucumber slices were quite measly.

This was absolutely delicious, and is proof that healthier substitutions can be done without major compromises on taste! The substitution of white rice for quinoa was almost unnoticeable, as the quinoa grains soaked up the curry wonderfully. Even though the coconutiness of the quinoa was much milder than in traditional nasi lemak, this was compensated by the strong coconut flavour of the curry.

Something weird, however, was that my onsen egg turned out to be an onsen egg white. 😥 not sure how that happened as I'm quite sure the menu said "onsen egg"....

Healthy rendition of Nasi Lemak consisting of quinoa, cucumber, egg and chicken. Tastes good, but relatively small portion for the price paid.

First time trying this healthier alternative nasi lemak I must say the sambal is properly spicy!

Great for those who are permanently on healthier foods only yet have a killer craving.

My fav from Kipos still is their mentaiko salmon for sure.

They've got tough competition with TDC just next door, so I really wanted to see how their food compared to its neighbor.

The regular bowl is $10 and comes with 2 bases (I chose soba and sweet potato mash), 1 protein (curry turmeric chicken), 5 greens (edamame, green bean, cucumber, kailan, beetroot), 1 sauce (truffle shoyu), 1 lux (beetroot hummus) and 1 topping (tobiko). I paid $13.50 as the chicken and sweet potato required additional topups.

It was really good. I really liked the beetroot hummus; rich and creamy and absolutely delicious. The portion of carb and protein were definitely generous too. I had two heaping scoops of bright orange mashed sweet potatoes. The curry chicken was really well done too; not too spicy nor too oily. And the truffle shoyu that the veggies were tossed in was really strong too. I was fully prepared for the crunchy veggies to taste a little on the bland side but that wasn't the case at all as the truffle scent permeated the area as soon as I opened the lid.

Can't wait to try their pre-selected bowls!
