The wagyu beef looked so good on the menu that I knew I just had to try it. Looking at the marbling of those beef slices, I knew I was in for a treat. Being a seasoned foodie, I was more than right when the beef tasted more like a soft piece of sashimi that literally melts in your mouth. The soup base however was a tad salty.

I am not a big fan of fries/chips/wedges because it all taste pretty much the same to me. I reluctantly tried this and I realised that they can be rather delicious when done well. The potato skin was fried till golden brown and you can actually taste the crisp. What finds you there after is soft mushy potato which enhances the entire experience! Not to be missed out!

There was lots of hype about this place over the course of the past few weeks and being a Japanese food lover; I just had to check it out. The first thing that caught my eyes were the prices, they look too unbelievably affordable to be true. I ordered this because I wanted a change from the usual ramen and boy was it the best decision. Kiwami is extremely generous with the portion of prawns and scallops which were well cooked because it usually becomes too dry or overcook when placed in fried rice. The rice too was well complemented by the ikura and egg. Honesty, I can't think of a reason why someone wouldn't give this place a try. You can probably find me coming back here for lunch very frequently!

Rather small sized, however, dumpling skin was smooth tender and filled with juicy minced meat. Pick a vinaigrette for a cleaner taste.

Not as much black garlic oil as pictured but you do get quite a dash of sliced garlic. Nice aromatic pork broth, substantial meat, and well cooked noodles.

Rich pork broth with chilli oil, red miso paste and tender pork cheek slices (with skin). Mild spiciness. Noodles were cooked al dente with a little chew.
