Dolsot Bibimbap | $18 from Kho Kho Na Ra, served with protein options of chicken, beef or pork. Ordered the pork and my favorite condiments on the Bibimbap were the runny egg yolk and seaweed flakes!

After all that k-drama, surely we must not miss the korean fried chicken! We ordered the Combo Chicken Set ($25) and my favourite goes to the original fried chicken for the perfect crunch!

Ordered all these for 5pax, total bill $100+. Of all the food, i like their garlic wings the best.
- Mix wings 18pcs (original, sweet and garlic)
- Seafood pancake (be prepared for many huge spring onions!)
- Mix fries (tasted normal)

Kickstarting 2020 with something warm and fuzzy! The Bu Dae Jji Gae ($48, inclusive of extra ramyeon noodles) from Kko Kko Na Ra comes with ramyeon, spam, sausage, vegetables, mushrooms, baked beans and rice cake. Quite a decent rendition of Army Stew with a nice balance of spicy and tangy flavours - comfort food checked!

Make this joint in Tanjong Pagar your spot for Korean pancake. Order the seafood Hae Mool Pa Jun ($25) for a shrimp and spring onion rendition. Other variations include the Bu Chu Jun ($22) with Korean leek and squid, the simple Kimchi Jun ($22) or the meaty Bulgogi Pa Jun ($30).

Special Garlic Soy Sauce Chicke + Mixed Fries + Budae Jjigae

Korean fried chicken with soju bomb is an ultimate Seoul-style comfort food to destress after a long work day. The garlic soy sauce chicken was a favourite as the marinate, having been caramelised from the heat, gave it a sweet flavour and the skin remained crispy. Enjoy it with a humble, hearty stew that warmed the belly and tentalised my taste buds with its spicy, savory and unami-rich broth.

As sinful as it may be, Korean fried chicken is on my list of comforting food that is worth every calorie and great pairing with ice cold beer. Each piece of meat was tender and juicy with a savoury crunchy skin. With an added coat of their special sweet and sticky sauce, it was addictive that I want to eat more. πŸ—πŸΊ
