For $17, this dish is for those who are feeling ravenous for breakfast as the serving size is quite big. It can also be too gelat after a few spoonfuls. There was too much truffle oil added such that it overpowered the cheese, which was a pity. The chicken cubes were a bit too tough as well, perhaps it would be better if thinner slices of chicken were used instead.

The duck confit was really tough and it required quite a lot of effort to chew :( It would have been nice if the dish was served with a more generous portion of hollandaise sauce as well. However, the poached egg was cooked to our liking and that was nice. Overall, we felt that even though the amount of shredded duck meat was rather generous, the dish was a little too pricey ($20.50++).

Located at Upper Thomson together with other cafes like Columbus, Habitat Coffee or One Man Coffee, Knockhouse Cafe really stands out amongst the others witht their affordable food & superb coffee. Ordered a cappuccino & matcha latte & look at how beautiful their latte art is! Their cappuccino is super fragrant and strong, just the way i like it. Their portions are huge too! The carbonara is not too creamy nor too gelat and came with lots of ingredients. Their beef burger came with such crispy and yummy fries too. The beef patty was cooked till perfection; medium rare.

Rest assumed it looks nothing like this haha, I only took picture halfway when I realised I didn't before that

Didn't deserve the trip bah I feel, given this is their most highly raved item. It's certainly not bad, the mushrooms had a nice bite and good flavour, overall a tad oily but to an acceptable degree.

No more salted pear french toast. Why did they remove their most unique french toast?

Anyway this was alright. The French toast had a good execution, it's somewhat firm but airy enough. And the crust was decent too. The salted caramel isn't very satisfying though, idk if it's because of the portion or what but u can taste the saltiness

Finally clocked my visit here and am surprised stuff are nett

It's okay, the cheese was soft and it was jelat but not overly so. But a lot of their items come with truffle oil so read the ingredients carefully. Not that it really matters cos the whole place smells like truffle oil
