A delicious plate of Pad Thai in the middle of an industrial estate. Only $6 for such a big plate! Do order the pandan chicken too

Big portion and also good food. No GST and service charges. One of nice Cha Yen I have drank.

Best for a hot hot day! The flour coated chestnuts is just nice and not overly thick. You still get the good crunch of the chestnuts within. It is also aptly paired with a couple of jackfruit strips. Yums!

Chanced upon this Thai Eatery and we are delighted to have given this place a try. We ordered the following dishes:
1) Clear Tom Yum Soup
2) Papaya salad
3) Plain Omelette
4) Stir fried Kang Kong
5) Basil Pork
The dishes are all very authentic with fresh and generous ingredients. We enjoyed the Tom Yum soup the most. Any Thai restaurant worth its salt should be first measured by its Tom Yum Soup and Koat Aroy doesn't disappoint. Highly recommended if you enjoy quality authentic Thai food sans the bigger bills normally found at bigger establishments. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

We had seafood tom yum soup ($8), mixed vegetables ($6), fried pork with garlic ($8), stirred fried glass noodles ($6) and Thai ice milk tea ($2.80) for sharing among 2 pax. The food wasn't particularly outstanding, but it was well priced and value for money. πŸ‘

oil lamps, Thai calendar, portraits etc.) that add to the charm of this three-month old Thai eatery. The atmosphere here is very homely & welcoming, & if not for the authentic & reasonably-priced Thai dishes, this'd be more reminiscent of a themed cafe than a restaurant.

Appreciate the fact that the one-page menu is brief yet contains all of the classic favourites. From $6 for a plate of Pad Thai, portions are generous and excellent value for money; this is especially important as it nestles itself in the heart of Taiseng for office crowd to come around.
.
In particular, we’re all unanimously fans of the Thai Steamed Fish w/ Lime Sauce ($22). They own their own fishery in Kelong & the seabass was so fresh & delicate you can basically give it an award for contributing its lifetime of sweetness to the dish, I mean that broth was honestly impeccable πŸ’•

Thanks @koataroy for the very delicious hospitality & @damien_tc for extending the invite.
