I ordered a Portobello Sandwich & enjoyed it, which took me by surprise. The mushrooms were generous & juicy, with the cheese melted & still slightly oozy, being served hot. The lettuce & tomatoes inside were fresh & the bread was soft & really filled me up.

All sandwiches come with a side of chips, which were nice & crispy but a little salty. If these are regular store-bought chips from a bag, I doubt anything can be done about it, though. There is the option to change the chips to a salad, but that unfortunately costs additional.

I would order this again if I could get this at the 50% off that I had by booking with Eatigo.

Koda's Cafe's last day of operations at The Hillford is tomorrow, 15th Aug 2019. No regrets ordering my Portobello Sandwich as it was tasty. Would return here again if I could book with the same Eatigo discount.

I was going to say that this is, after all, at a convenient location for me (albeit many will beg to differ). But that might not be relevant to me anymore after they move.

Ordering a sandwich isn't something that I'd usually do, but nothing else on the menu really appealed to me. It might be just me... I usually like Burgers, but I wasn't feel any of them that day.

They have brunch items on the menu like Big Breakfast & French Toast, as well as Shepherd's Pies, too. Overall, I find the menu here on the pricey side, so I was glad to have the 50% #eatigosg discount.

All the best, Koda's Cafe, in your new adventures very soon!

Buttermilk waffles with caramel ice cream, cream, and lots of speculoos! The waffles were crispy on the outside and soft inside. It was pretty flavourful on its own, but it tastes way better with the speculoos and the butter and the cream together. The butter is salted and complements all the sweet stuff well - just be aware at least one slice is under the ice-cream and will not be easy to spread. The ice-cream tastes very much like vanilla, I only realised it was caramel much later.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a single-origin tea at cafe! The taste was very light and slightly sweet at first, but gradually grew more vegetal and umami as it cooled down. Pretty good and a nice change from the usual teas found in cafes!
