have been eating this for years and the quality is consistently great 🤤 generous portion of fresh sashimi cubes with other ingredients like tamago, cucumber and steamed ebi. especially love the sprinkle of furikake and the crispy tempura bits for an extra savoury touch and crunch 🤩

Tempura were fresh and crispy - love the lightweight batter. As usual, mushrooms are my favourite although I do enjoy the prawn as well. Paid +$1 for the udon as I like how soup and noodles “clears” the oil in my mouth after eating the tempura. Serving for the udon can be bigger though.

I have enjoyed their Chirashi Don for some time now and just revisited the place with some friends. The food is still good but some revamp may be needed given the creaky table and worn chairs.

Enjoyed my meal! The tempura was very crunchy and satisfying, with the ingredients still maintaining their juiciness. It wasn’t very heavy until the end. The soba was a good complement as it was light. Their portions are generous, and there was a wide variety of ingredients: enoki, long beans, sweet potato, seaweed, shiitake & chicken fillet. Would come back again!

Came back to try level 3 spiciness of the dish. I did not taste any spiciness anyway, so I guess this dish is not spicy at all, sadly:( What I love about the tempura is that it is not overly crispy and there are a worthy amount of the veggie and chicken there (as compared to those with a lot of batter and little actual food). The chicken is really well spiced too, but it may taste a bit too salty for those who do not like salty food. The soba was well-cooked and the broth is not overly umami nor fishy which I like.

Udon broth is well balanced between the umami and clear taste which I like.. I don't like the too-heavy, fishy kind. The tempura is crunchy, but it didn't blend so well with the togarashi (this is level 2 spiciness btw). Generous portion as well.

One note is that the waitstaff wasn't patient at all in explaining the dish and the spiciness level. She seemed to rush everything and got me to just choose level 2 right away saying level 3 is "wasabi spicy la just choose level 2" even when I originally told her I wanted level 3! What was her fascination with level 2 about? Alright maybe she had other tables to wait and the turnaround has to be quick but don't customers also deserve to know what I eat, no? Furthermore I was seated at the counter table which is not as popular as the main dining area and only one other seats out of five on the counters were filled hence seat turnaround may not be an issue here.
