super shiok. the sauce was special and the eel for gen 1 maki was freshly grilled as well! 10/10 will recommend

Shiok Maki 1 is definitely the go-to sushi!
The fusion sushi roll comprises of thick torched salmon, cucumber with lots lots lots of tobiko and special shiok sauce (my fave). The sauce taste is like sweet thick mayonnaise. Opt for less tobiko if you are not a big fan of fish roe.

They will serve the sushi with ginger as garnish.

If this just looks like a pile of cheese and mayo to you, that’s because it is. This is THE MOST sinful maki I’ve ever had but it’s so damn good. I had generation 1, with the salmon and unagi. Had the entire maki to myself and it was honestly a really filling meal.

Come early to avoid the queue + lengthy waiting times for food 😬 Waited for about 1.5h just for our Makis and we came at about 11.40am!

The signature Shiok Maki was truly Shiok! There was a generous amount of roe and sauce with each bite and with each mouthful you’re only tempted to eat more! We ordered bentos as our mains and were pleasantly surprised by the portions and quality of food prepared.

Been at least 3 or 4 years since we came back, and the queue is still as insane. Love the efficient service, reasonable prices and of course, the very satisfying sushi! One plate is not enough.

Taste: Shiok shiok maki Gen 2. Whooping tasty! They also served free flow of hot green tea.

Atmosphere: Clean and well-maintained store. Simple furnishing and soothing to the eyes.

Service: Staff was very friendly and prompt to response. Food was served within 10 minutes. Great service!
