Birthday freebies!

Claiming this for the first time this year because i finally got a koi card!! (You will need to make a purchase before you can join their free membership!)

For the birthday month promo, you can get one free drink (medium size) with one topping! I got the yakult green tea with golden bubble!

Finally tried limited edition drink for Biscuit Milk Tea ($4.90) from KOI. Ok I felt that it tasted like ovaltine tbh after a few sips. My sister she asked me to redeem and try free drink from KOI lol so I decided to write drink review for it. For the size of the drink, I felt it was quite small size compared to normal drink and the biscuit shaves topping were quite enough for covering up the drink. I would not buying the drink directly without the card deal ($22) tbh as probably the size of drink didn't marked up for price.

Popcorn Latte (~$4.40) was a new drink introduced by Koi together with Garrett’s popcorn!! And how could you say no... to Garett’s... 🤩🍿🍿
.
Got the drink at my usual sugar level and I’d suggest maybe getting it slightly less sweet, since the caramel popcorn was SUPEEER sweet and it added to the sweetness of the drink ☕️
.
Overall I’d say not bad though when the popcorn got into the drink it got really soggy 😶 Worth a try but wouldn’t go back for it 🌿

Have you ever tried KOI’s most expensive drink?

I will probably just stick to my favourite Green Tea Macchiato 😊.

Glad that the queue wasn't that bad and I managed to get my order within 10 minutes. The recommended sugar level would be 50%-100% but being a hardcore matchaholic, I decided to settle for 25% instead. True enough, the characteristic bitter undertone and intense earthy note is definitely not suited for the faint hearted. However, it never failed to disappoint me with the distinct and robust earthy note! 💚 Topped with a thick layer of creamy milk foam, you can either choose to consume it separately with the small spoon provided or mix it in with the matcha beverage. I would personally prefer consuming the two elements in silo to fully appreciate and savour the thick, intense earthy matcha coupled with the subtle sweetness of the creamy milk foam.
