This place is quite popular, and you have to make a reservation in advance. I really liked the diverse food options available, and the salmon and roe rice bowl - while expensive ($20) - was so good. The roe was plump and huge and very generously given. It gave the whole dish flavor, and there was a bowl of salad and miso soup to go with the meal as well.
Will visit this place again for special occasions ๐
Mixed grain rice (+$1) is a must! It just adds so much variety in textures to the bowl. Generous amount of sashimi along with jellyfish, crispy bits, fish roe - really good option for affordable chirashi don fix.
Century egg tofu is umami, taste good, served chilled (didnโt expect that lol), quite small in size and on the saltier side actually. Probably wonโt order again but worth a try.
8/10 #teesfoodreviews
had the ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ (๐๐๐$๐๐++), and opted for the Multi-Grain rice (+$1)! I rate this don a 8/10 - it was SO good!! ๐คฉ๐คฉ rather value for money given the generous portions of salmon and roe, and the salmon sashimi was really fresh too. JUST LOOK AT ALL THE SASHIMI!!!! The additional $1 for the multi-grain rice was also worth it, for the nutty texture and lovely aroma ๐ just wished it was slightly less pricey, but i will still be happy to pay for it!
Also tried the ๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐ ๐ (๐๐๐$๐++); and also a 8/10 for this dish! Donโt usually like century egg, but the combination of flavours worked really well, and this was a refreshing change โบ๏ธ
My parents tried the Pork Cheek ($20++) and the Unagi ($23++) rice bowls respectively, and they really enjoyed it as well - so here are some pics of it!
Will definitely return in the near future ๐
Donโt miss out trying their sushi that come in 5 pieces. The cheapest options come with sea bream, swordfish, tuna, sweet prawn and salmon; for $9++
Even thought it is not that direct to find this place (they are hidden at level 3 and you need to look for the signage), but I see lots of diners coming here for their Japanese food.
They have a few rice bowl options including this. A chewy pork cheek topped with onsen egg. Every donburi comes with salad and miso soup.$20++
Nothing like the version of their chirashidon i've been seeing online. Fish was marinated similar to teppei syokudo. Most impressed by the effort to pack it separate from the rice, and a somewhat generous serving.
