Hototogisu Ramen (Waterway Point)

I was initially worried it will be too spicy.

Thank goodness it was nothing to worry about. It's very spicy, but it doesn't linger on your tongue.

Cha shu serving generous and really goes well with the spicy soup.

Soup was a little too salty. But I still enjoyed this.

had high hopes going into this but it goes to show you can’t take all michelin recommendations seriously 🙁 broth was mainly salty and lacking that umami, even the spicy version was bland! the gyozas and pork belly were decent though. prices are reasonable, would only recommend to come for a quick ramen fix!

Froth light yuzu sauce adds the element of zest to the broth, giving a pretty refreshing take to the standard savoury flavour. However, as the ramen absorbs the yuzu broth, taste of sourness became more pronounced after eating half the bowl. On a side note, their gyoza is really good!!
