Each set of yong dau foo set comes with a bowl of springy noodles and minced pork, as well as a bowl of simmering hot soup with yong dau foo ingredients (5 of them). The size of each ingredient is generous and tasty, fishball the usual. Each set is priced at $5.50 and is such a comfort to have in the rainy weather. 😋😋

While the noodles looked ordinary at first glance, it was surprisingly good! It was really springy and it was cooked in Koo Kee's secret sauce, which was a little oily but gave the noodles a lot of flavour. Topped with minced pork, you can mix in some chilli and ketchup (can be requested) to make the dish even more tasty. This is the upsized version, which was honestly a little too gelat; however, their standard serving was a little too small. It would be great if they could have a size in between.

For the soup, I felt the ingredients were pretty standard, although you can swap the ingredients if you don't like any particular one. Otherwise, the default would be the five items shown in the picture!

Each bowl comes with a standard 5 pieces, and all were really good except perhaps for the fishball which was quite ordinary. Wish the portion was bigger tho...or maybe an option to upsize would be good. The noodles that came with the set looks average but was surprisingly springy and yummy when mixed with the sweet sauce and chili sauce. $5.

Okay Koo kee totally needs some air time here. We all love yong tau foo but honestly nothing comes close to Koo kee YTF. The noodle reminds of Kolo mee, a dish you get in Sarawak. Plus it pairs so well to the ingredients. I smother a generous amount of chilli and ketchup available at the shop, on my noodle. Just. So. Awesome.
Works well for every meal ♥️

Nearby pinegarden and the recently opened fish & chicks, you can find this sizzling yong tau foo hotplate 《$5》that comes with their bean paste and an egg omelette !

Koo Kee has embarked into first residential heartlands in Singapore North-West Region, Bukit Panjang. Serving their signature Yong Tau Foo, delicious Chee Cheong Fun and other local delights at a pocket friendly prices. Definitely a place for gathering with your loved ones to enjoy the heathy eats they serve.

As above; Hotplate Spicy Yong Tau Foo served with rice [$5.00] as one of my favorites on their menu.

To my westies, something we have in place just for you and one thing you can't miss out while indulging in your hometown!
