Ordered the cookie with 2 scoops - Earl Grey & Thai Milk tea and shared it. Definitely worth it!! It was incredibly moist, chewy and melts in your mouth. Will definitely get a bigger portion next time. There are a variety of flavours to choose from as well, you can have fun with mixing it!

Total damage per person: $6

Our second time having kooks’ molten lava cookie! Preferred the Hokkaido milk ice cream over the milk cereal (which was quite bland in our opinion). The cookie was still as tasty as what we had previously. Good dessert to go for in town!

It was ~$10 for this chocolate lava cookie with a premium scoop. The cookie was really good as it was warm and contrasted the ice cream coldness very well! It was slightly crispy and added much dimension and texture to the dish. Topped with a crunch, which was chopped peanuts I assume, it made the dish very yummy! The only qualm about this was that the pistachio ice cream did not live up to my expectations! I had better pistachio scoops out there so that was the negative point for me!

Couldn’t really taste the matcha but it was such a good swap out for the usual waffles you get served with ice cream. Cafes should start serving molten oozey cookies with ice creams! (Would even come back just for the cookie. SOOO GOOD!)

The chocolate lava cookie was served v warm with the chocolate oozing out of the cookie after the ice creams were placed on it! Ordered the black sesame ice cream as well as the chocolate mint ice cream! Both flavours were good and did not disappoint! I think that the black sesame ice cream was p good and wouldn’t mind gg back for it.

However, i personally feel that this dessert is slightly more towards the sweeter end. Would prefer it if the cookie is less sweet! Nonetheless, still a p decent dessert place to pop by!

Ratings: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

the ondeh ondeh ice cream managed to replicate the taste of the original dessert very well, however the flavor was on the milder side. when paired with the lava cookie, the buttery taste from the cookie and chocolate lava totally overwhelmed the ice cream making the whole dish super underwhelming.

the signature lava cookie was on the crumblier side, which was not my fave but for those who like crispy cookies (like tappy) you’ll enjoy it!
