Went into this not knowing what injeolmi was (still don't really get it, Google hasn't been of much help. It's supposedly a rice cake? What?) so initially I was only going to get the other 3 and let this bun be the forgotten fourth child, but I decided to try it anyway I don't regret it.

I ate the bun cold, which basically turned it into a cream puff for me, which I liked. The cream was nice and sweet and though I still don't know what it is, I can confidently say that I like it.

The main focus of the bun is definitely the injeolmi, because there's probably about a teaspoonful of red bean inside. I was fine with it though, as the injeolmi was sweet enough.

The mochi disappointed me even more than I disappoint my parents because it was tough and rubbery after being refrigerated. I can't blame the bakery for this because I did choose to refrigerate it, but biting down and expecting to have my teeth sink into a soft, pillowy, chewy mochi, only to be met with a hard and stale disappointment really put a damper in my gastronomic experience. Again, not the bakery's fault, but I would recommend for those who refrigerate their buns to cut out the mochi and microwave it before eating because rubbery mochi does NOT equal happy tongue.

Overall, I did really like this bun but personally, I preferred the other 3. I could definitely see myself having it again in the future!

Tbh I'm not the biggest fan of kimchi but I still wanted to try this bun! My fist bite was like an explosion of salt LMAO I'm not sure why but it was so overpoweringly salty, and slightly sour from the kimchi. As I continued eating the bun though, it was no longer that salty? So I'm not sure if I bit the wrong place lol.

Anyways this bun is definitely super good! The bread is slightly chewy and really nice, and the fillings were really flavourful, being salty, sour and savoury. Apparently there's supposed to be cheese in this but I couldn't taste any, but it was fine cuz the chicken and kimchi had enough flavour to make up for it.

Other than the initial salty impression, this was a fantastic bun!

Omg idk what they use to make the bread but the bread is so so flavourful 😛 unfortunately the amount of filling in this was a little disappointing, not a lot of chicken or cheese. Many of my mouthfuls were kinda just bread. But the bread itself was so delicious that I'll forgive it.

Definitely like this one more than the kimchi one cuz it's less salty and idk there's just something about it that's so YUM??? Please try it if you are in Bishan (provided it's not sold out) and hopefully yours will have more filling😢😭

The matcha cookie bun is very similar to it's nutella counterpart, only that it has a matcha flavour, obviously. I heated it in the oven for a short while, such that I got to try a mix of both the warm, liquidy matcha sauce and the matcha cream (from being unheated). I have to say that I do prefer the heated, liquidy version as it's richer, but if you like creamy things, you could leave it unheated.

Eating the bun was a fantastic experience. The bright green hues of the cookie top and the matcha filling reminded me of my one true love, Shrek, making this bun all the more enjoyable. I like to imagine that Shrek and I are sharing this bun, sipping on cups of Matcha together as we watch the sun set over his swamp.

I find that the cookie top of this bun is a little better than the one on the nutella bun as it has those fragrant hints of matcha embedded within the buttery base flavour. The filling in the bun has a mildly bitter taste hidden in it's sweetness, like any good Matcha bun would.

Overall, though I'm not really a matcha fanatic, I loved every moment of savoring this bun. It was as delicious as the nutella bun, and it kept me feeling surprisingly full despite it's small size. Would recommend.

I reheated the bun in the oven for around 3 minutes, which made the cookie on top crispy. Some of the chocolate did flow out a little while heating but I just poured it back on the bun.

The filling is nice and rich with slight bitter undertones. Despite being called a nutella bun, the filling is definitely not nutella, more like a nice chocolate sauce. The cookie top has a lovely buttery fragrance to it, and if Korfe ever decides to sell cookies made with the batter of the cookie tops, you can bet that my fat butt will be back in the queue at Junction 8 to get it.

Even though the bun is pretty small, it is filled with a nice, adequate amount of chocolate to satisfy my sweet cravings such that I don't feel the need to have more sweets. Each bite was a beautiful, chocolatey journey to glutton heaven.

Overall, a wonderful bun that I would marry if I were a piece of bread.

The fragrance of this bun was so strong that it permeated the air even through the plastic bag when I was bringing it home, and after a day in the refrigerator, the moment I took it out, the garlic aroma instantly filled the room.

I heated it in the oven to get the exterior slightly crispy and to warm the cream cheese inside. The amount of garlic in the bun was so glorious that Dracula ran screaming at just the sight of it. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes garlic (sorry to my future husband), I lived for every bite of garlicky goodness.

The sweet cream cheese complemented the stronger garlic taste beautifully, with slight milky, buttery undertones.

The bun is kinda mini sized in comparison to other bakeries with big garlic cheese buns, but I think that this size is perfect as it satisfies my cravings, yet doesn't leave me feeling like a bloated whale (for context, a regular sized bun has around 800-900 calories 😱).

By far, my favourite garlic cream cheese bun that I've had. Granted, I've only really ever had garlic cream cheese buns from Swee Heng 1989, but I'll be trying more buns to review and compare which is the best!
