Feature my top 2 favourite dishes and hopper.
💕Black Pepper Kithul Pork.
Crisp caramelised black pepper kithul pork belly outside while tender and juicy inside,served with Tangy sour guindilla pepper to balance the richness of pork belly.
💕Poricha Erachi.
Seared tender beef cheek with crisp outer layer and glaze in sweet tangy sauce from tamarind,chilli and lime.
💕Egg Hopper.
Instead of rice, we choose to have it with egg hopper.
Like the hopper texture, crips edge and soft Centre with runny egg yolk.
Perfect for Dig in to the gravy.

Had the Sri Lankan crab. The spices weren’t over- powering and literally can drink the sauce hahah( salivating right now). Must order the mutton roll. The crab croquette was a little over powering for me. I can’t wait to go back to try out their other dishes! Ordered a bottle of wine but honestly which such dishes, I couldn’t really taste the wine even if it’s red. So just focus on the food!

Egg Hoppers with various curries . So I’ve found that Sri Lankan curries have a lot more tamarind in them , quite different from Indian curries . The Chicken Kottu is also really good

Kotuwa is Chef Rishi Naleendra’s third concept, after Cheek and Cloudstreet, and it debuted during the circuit breaker for deliveries and had several popups since before calling home at its current location. Previously, my only taste of Kotuwa was during the 4-hands collaboration with Restaurant Kin and several of the dishes served back then are now available in the permanent menu.

Since this is a Boxing Day dinner, I cannot resist several puns but every plate of food coming out from the Kotuwa kitchen will deliver flavours and spice that will deliver a knockout blow. There are no disputes or whatsoever, the clear winner will definitely be the diners as you can now get a taste of Sri Lankan cuisine in Singapore. From the influence by the Portuguese, Dutch and British settlers, the food is nothing you can find elsewhere from snacks such as Devilled Cashew ($8), Crab Cutlet ($16) to vegetables of Wattakka Kalu Pol ($16), a butternut squash cooked in blackened coconut gravy and the familiar Chicken Curry ($22) and Hoppers (or more commonly known as appam). This dining destination will surely lit up as more people get to experience the Sri Lankan culture and cuisine, so do make your reservations early.

Pricey but worth it. Fantastic service and always great to try new cuisine. The cardamom tart was absolutely amazing and so are the cocktails. Will come back!

Many of us have been waiting for Chef Rishi Naleendra (of Cheek by Jowl and Cloud Street fame) to open a restaurant serving his heritage cuisine, and it's finally here! This Sri Lankan concept has dishes like the spicy battered calamari Dallo Baduma ($22), Beetroot Curry ($16) with toasted cumin and green chilli, and fried beef cheek Poricha Erachi ($24). Burppler Ethel Tan is a fan of the Beef Rolls ($12), "Sri Lankan croquettes with spiced beef filling. It's very crispy and the beef was flavourful too."
