šŸ“Koufu (Nanyang Polytechnic)
- Mala Xiang GuošŸ„˜

Medium spicy level, not bad at all! Pretty spicy but less spicy as compared to a McSpicy. The saltiness and spiciness are quite on point, got that kick that is. Felt a bit lacking of that numbing sensation, but overall worth trying.

Damage: $11.95 (enough for two pax)

What makes their mala so damn good would be the fragrance of their spices. Oh what a perfect marriage of ingredients and sauce. They have the right amount of saltiness, and the time used to cook the food rendered a slight crunch for the vegetables and a nice bite for the meats.

NYP Koufuā€™s mala tend to be milder on the spice, so go ahead and order zhong (äø) or da la (å¤§č¾£). As a rough gauge, my friend who couldnā€™t take McSpicy well took äøč¾£ like a champ.

Usually $12-16 for 2 pax.

One of the best mala Iā€™ve had.

This is my first time trying food from the vegetarian Stall at Koufu, I ordered the Maggie noodle without any sides. I requested to have the curry gravy over the noodles. At first, I didn't have much expectations for this noodles as it doesn't look that good. However, when I had my first bite, the curry was sooooo good, it was very fragrant and had a little spicy kick to it. The Chili was also very surprising, it had a little sweet taste to it which I like it a lot. The spiciness of it, is also just right for me. I would totally go back again for this, although it is a little pricy.

This turkish store has been recently opened in the renovated koufu in NYP. This. Is. So. Good. And its halal! This is legit turkish food. I had chicken kebab previously for $3 and decided to try Falafel Vegetarian Sandwich for $4.50. 3 deep-fried ball or patty made from ground chickpeas, fava beans, or both sandwiched in between with sauces and hummus (if im not wrong!), veggie and tomatoes. No regrets man, no regrets. Wish this was around during my school days!

5/5
