Aburi salmon with cheese/Tarako/olive & black truffle, spicy salmon Inari and salmon maki with tenkasu. Shared amongst 3 happy friends but after a while got a wee bit gelat. Still finished it anw 😋 always thought itacho sushi had good quality fish, slices were thick and the fish was fresh! Rice wasn’t too hard and there was a good ratio of fish:rice!👍🏻 Thx @grabfoodsg 4 the discounts these few weeks!!! We ordered in itacho sushi for dinner @ utown hehe. (Unfortunately our delivery was late again...) #scrumptioussavingswithsteph #burpple

Ordered from the Chinese Sichuan store from the Koufu in university town. Gong Bao ji ding for $5. Portion of rice is really generous! Approximately 3/4 of the container. If only they are be generous with the chicken portion. The amount of chicken is miserable even when 80% of it is just the pepper. I would have given the store a second chance if it's chicken is good, I mean like perhaps the Chef was feeling kiam siap that day? ... but no the chicken itself tasted so bad that I just can't . So nope, never again.

Ordered the 'premium' to see what it looks like. Comes with fish skin and more fishball and fish cake. I should have asked for more spicy 🌶 version.

The Taiwanese stall at utown koufu opened last year and they sell, to me, one of the dishes in utown. Each rice grain can be tasted in your mouth, with a generous serving of egg fried together in the concoction. The pork chop is succulent and tasty, although a tad salty with the Taiwanese seasoning sprinkled on top, which you can ask for less. For this price, this dish really comes at a steal, and is reminiscent of what one would get in Crystal Jade. I was impressed the first time I came here and one year later, it still doesn't fail to impress. To NUS students and frequent visitors to utown - try this!

Heartiness (portion): 4/5
Tastiness (product): 4.5/5 (salty seasoning)
Worthiness (price): 5/5

Do not be deceived by the seemingly plain looking soup. It is said that the soup is boiled with Lamb bones and absorbs the color of the bone marrow and presented as milky white. You have to try it to believe it.
