Feast on contemporary japas (Japanese tapas), yakitori and rice bowls at this hip izakaya, replete with daily beer promos. The walls are decked out in colourful murals, making the perfect backdrop for your Insta-worthy photos.

Happy Pizza Tuesday - if you love pizza, do pop by @kouzu_ttdi to have a try on their Nihonjin Pizza at RM12 each, on every Tuesday from 5pm -11pm! Valid until June 2018.

Kouzu has great truffle beef rice bows ! The meat is tender and well cooked and the seasoning used in the rice sits on my taste palette nicely! The cheese oysters are one of my favourite πŸ’ž however the food came out cold both the oysters and the rice bowl and the waiting time for the food is rather slow overall the food taste good but the service needs to be much improved on .

Everything on the menu is worth trying! Visited this gem 3 times a month just to tryout everything. Good for sharing so do order more ☺️ But if you really had to choose, go for the stone grilled sirloin, mackerel and escargot pizza

Fairly new eatery in TTDI serving Japanese Tapas and such.
The first thing that caught my eye was the striking manga style mural on the walls.
In frame: Creamy Baked Oysters (RM19). These delicious fresh oysters are baked in their shell with creamy cheesy goodness and topped with masago. This is a must order!

At first glance, the eye-catching murals at Kouzu will immediately have you know that the establishment breathes fun, quirky Japanese vibes. Expect the same from the menu, which displays a flair for contemporary Japas (Japanese tapas). Tasty dishes are aplenty, like the Pan Seared Foie Gras and Tuna (RM28) and a Crispy Unagi Roll (RM22), but our favourite has got to be the Creamy Baked Oyster (RM19 for five). Baked in their shells chock-full of piquant masago (capelin roe), these are incredibly easy to love. Also order the Stone Grilled Sirloin (RM27), painstakingly served on a stone wrapped in foil to retain its moist, juicy texture. From the grill, don't miss out on the fresh, plump Rock Lobster (RM12 per stick) and the Sirloin (RM12 per stick) β€” we can't get enough of these. The neighbourhood bar is great for both food and drinks, but even better for how affordable it is to have them. Make it your next spot to kick back with friends or talk business with a partner over beers, sakes or whiskies.
