So much savory goodness from the mix of fruit and vegetable slices evenly coated with dark prawn paste sauce and crushed peanuts.

😋👍Kway Chap (S$3.50) in Kovan. Silky smooth rice noodles in a soy-based gravy. I like that they gave lots of peanuts. Changed the intestine ingredients for more tofu and fish cake because i dont like the pig skin or intestines.

❤😋Bee hoon drenched with hainanese curry with sides of veges and pork chop (S$4.30). This is one of the popular stall at Kovan Food Centre. Theres was a queue, but moved pretty fast. Must try 👍.

Hard to believe it's all vegetarian/ mock meat right? I opted for the curry vegetables, tofu and stirfried potato slices. I also got the bee hoon and was so amazed by the enormous portion! They're really generous. It could have been tastier, but overall not a bad option if you're eating in Kovan and feeling really hungry.

Price: $2.70 - $3

The long snaking queue formed beside this stall caught our attention but it moved rather quickly. Probably because there were a few helpers at the stall.

Chose the usual suspects of my plate of curry rice; cabbage, pork chop and something new, celery with tau kee (bean curd skin). While the 2 vegetable dishes were quite flavorful, diners gotta be prepared that the pork chop here isn’t like what’s served usually, the crispy battered ones. This pork chop has no breaded batter, although it still has a chewy texture. But personally I wouldn’t have it again, as I felt like without the batter, the pork chop lacks of an aroma, as well as an additional crispiness. The curry tended to the sweet, milky side.

Wouldn’t mind trying out other dishes here the next time as they have quite a variety of dishes.
