Perhaps it was the high expectations and drool-worthy photos, but the Ebi Capellini ($18) while delicious, didn’t wow us as much as we were expecting. A combination of fried Sakura Ebi, juicy ikura, white wine and shio kombu made for an umami-rich palate. However, we found the dominant flavour to be the punchy chilli oil that tipped the balance to result in pasta tasting more akin to Chinese noodles. Perhaps my spice tolerance is just too weak but did wish for more natural seafood flavours and complexity beyond the chilli spice, and more generous topping of ikura and ebi. The 4 pieces of seared scallops (+$6) were succulent and a tasty addition.

Good mix of espresso and matcha, with both flavours coming through. Was not expecting this to be so strong (I.e was up tossing and turning at night 😂) but a likely testament to the high caffeine level from the generous use of matcha powder. Would have enjoyed it more if not for the powdery feel of the matcha powder and also wished for the drink to have been colder

Not much to say about tater tots, except for those who are new to it - imagine bite-sized cylindrical hashbrowns. 🥔

For Kream & Kensho, they added a generous amount of grana padano (a type of hard cheese which doesn’t have much moisture to it and more flavour, similar to parmesan).

I quite liked this, even though I’d say it’s best for sharing. The way I was STRUGGLING to finish it a third way through… 😮‍💨

That’s a good problem to have, I would think. 🤪

Love the kombu fries best. Grape ricotta and milk teas are on the sweet side. The food here is decent but would not come back specially. Also, we had to leave after an hour plus because there is another reservation. Would appreciate if we have been informed prior to ordering or making the reservation as we have to finish our food in a haste.

✨Iced Cafe Latte (Single Origin)✨
This coffee is not too bitter nor too sour. If you want to have a taste of coffee but not sure what type of coffee beans you like, choose this coffee as it cannot go wrong🤎 The milk was also just enough, it did not taste diluted nor too strong. It also does not really cause headache (but if it does for you, you can ask for one shot instead of the usual two).

💰: $8 (iced)
📈: 10/10

✨Matcha Latte✨
Matcha latte is not their strong suit. The powder was not mixed well and they added too much milk. It tasted like I just ordered a cup of cold milk. It is also quite expensive for a cup of iced matcha. I recommend ordering coffee and not matcha, since they are known for that🤣

💰: $9.60 (iced)
📈: 4/10

📝Additional comments:
I recommend ordering hot (even though Singapore so hot🤠), but you will be able to get a better whiff of the aroma from the coffee beans!

Kombu Truffle Fries ($12+)
Really enjoyed the fries tho! Quite a huge fan of kombu, and the fries were pretty flavourful and crispy as well! Paired well with the truffle mayo, and was also served in a pretty huge portion that's great for sharing.
