1 of my bday presents frm Jamie hehe n wow the earl grey choc was so fkin good can rly taste the perfume of the tea & choc in the middle of the tart Wah the earl grey tart easily my fav. Lemon meringue tart was also good both tasted atas af hahaha

While the cafe was rather inaccessible, the pastries were worth the trip! Had their Halloween specials and particularly enjoyed the choux.

My go to dessert flavour is chocolate, but I went out on a limb here to get the ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ค ๐™‹๐™ค๐™ข๐™š๐™ก๐™ค ๐™๐™–๐™ง๐™ฉ (~$8.50) and being a risk taker does pay off! ๐Ÿคฃ
Itโ€™s tangy, milky, slightly thick and nutty. The marriage of sour from the mango pomelo lime compote, sweetness from the mango pops, and rich floral flavour of the coconut is a good one.๐Ÿฅฅ
I love Kuraโ€™s play on textures here (similar to their La Vie En Rose), with the coconut crispy flakes providing a slightly resistant bite. ๐Ÿฎ
I only wish the sponge layer was more mousse like and airy though, it did come across a bit heavy.

The deserts here are divineeee ๐Ÿ˜ the lemon tart was of just the right tanginess and the lemon curd was so smooth ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ the banana banoffe was a weekly special and I really loved how the banana taste wasnโ€™t too overpowering or artificial, and it was just the right sweetness


The swiss roll was soft and fluffy, with a rich matcha flavour that wasnโ€™t too intense. It was served with two matcha sable cookies, which added a nice crunchy contrast to the swiss roll. Not as decadent as the Black Forest, but still a very enjoyable dessert.


This is not your typical black forest cake. Kuraโ€™s version is a beautiful dark chocolate dome, crowned with a cream flower and cherry, sitting atop a biscuit base. As we dug into the cake, the richness of the chocolate mousse was evident and the cherry bits within helped to balance out the sweetness. Certainly a decadent delight!
